The Habit of the Go Givers

The Habit of the Go givers they go the extra mile.  They are the ones who tip that bit more, who praise a little more, who give a little more of their time.

The go giver is the generous person.  How do you become a go giver?  Well, there is an interesting story titled the two-dollar man. It is the story of the man who, when he has eaten at the restaurant, instead of giving the normal one dollar tip, he extends himself by one more dollar and leaves a two dollar tip.  This makes him feel better about himself.  He leaves the restaurant walking tall and proud as he thinks about how pleased the waiter will be at this tip.  It did not cost him much.  Yet the feeling that it leaves is worth so much more.

The go givers of this world are the people who give just a little more than is asked of them.  It does not take much effort.  A smile can change a person’s day.  A hug can make a child feel loved and cherished.  Being a go giver means that the impact it has on you as the person who is doing the giving is phenomenal.  You will feel lighter and brighter.  You will feel like a rich man – all because of giving just a little bit extra.

This can be accomplished anywhere in life.  There are millions of ways to be a go giver and the effect that it will have on you as a person will change who you are and how you see the world.

Go givers are normally happy people with a sense of well being and accomplishment.  You can also share this feeling by just doing a little bit extra every day.

When we live our lives just doing what is expected of us, we tend to become shriveled in our general outlook on all things. Become a go giver and watch as the world becomes a beautiful place in which to live.

It does not take much to become a go giver and in so doing you will not only become a better person yourself, but you will change the lives of others as well.

In order to lead a happy and effective life, we need to feel like we are leaving something positive behind.  Being a go giver will give you the sense of having accomplished something good.  If you feel good about your life and your existence, then you will automatically become a go-giver as you continue to spread the feeling of good.

Be the go giver.  Be that person who gives the two dollar tip instead of one.  Be that person who helps the old lady cross the street, or who lets the old man go through the door first.  Small little acts of kindness will go a long way to making you a better person.

Do not limit yourself in what you can be and do.  Go-givers are always looking for opportunities to assist and to go that extra mile for someone else and, in so doing, the sense of accomplishment that you achieve as an individual is priceless.

Put a smile on your face and believe in yourself and your dreams.  Be a go giver in every sense of what it means and see the world unfold in front of your eyes. People will look at you differently and the feedback you will receive will reinforce all things good and positive in your life.

Focus on becoming a go-giver and giving just a little more of yourself each and every day and the joy of giving will truly be yours.

Do not become discouraged by the pessimists of the world.  Rather, become the go giver and reap the rewards of goodness and the sense of accomplishments that will be yours.
